While I love all aspects of equine ambulatory practice my strong interests lie in equine ophthalmology (eyes), Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT) and Internal Medicine. I am also developing a great interest in Traditional Chinese medicine with an emphasis on acupuncture. Being an ambulatory vet is very exciting and interesting. I love meeting so many varied and fascinating people, and its great to see them interact and bond with their horses.

I was born and raised near Manchester, England. I started riding when I was seven years old. I owned a Cleveland Bay Thoroughbred cross and rode dressage until my horse "Toya" was diagnosed with Navicular Syndrome. My family emigrated to Canada in 1988. I completed a BSc in Zoology at the University of Calgary in 1993. I went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1997. After finishing my internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island in 1998, I joined Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital. I enjoy horse back riding, water skiing, hiking and working out at the YMCA.
