1992 - Present: Founder and President of Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Large Animal Internship, University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine
Past President, Wisconsin Equine Practitioners Association
I started Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital (WECH) in 1992, as a solo ambulatory practitioner with a strong passion for learning which helped in building the clinic into what it is today - a full service referral hospital and ambulatory practice with 13 full-time veterinarians and 30 support staff.
These days, my time is primarily spent on running Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital, but I still enjoy the time I get to work with clients and their horses. My medical specialties include a strong interest in working with the equine athlete on performance related injuries. With the advances in diagnostic options such as MRI, ultrasound and other imaging tools, it is rewarding to help both the performance and pleasure horse return to work.
My experience with owning and running a busy, successful practice have given me the opportunity to present multiple times for the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), the national organization for equine veterinarians, as well as to student veterinary groups at universities throughout the Midwest, about the business side of running a veterinary practice.
I grew up on a large horse breeding and training farm in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin - yes, I am a Cheesehead and a Packer fan! I trained and showed three National Champions during that time. After veterinary school and a veterinary internship in Tennessee, Gina, my wife of 25 years and I moved back to Wisconsin and purchased a small farm where we live today with our two daughters and a menagerie of animals.
