Nadia Czajkowski, DVM
Background: I grew up in southwest WI on a small farm. My family raised polled Herefords and Percherons until I was about 8 years old. We changed gears a bit and purchased Arabians which we began driving for both pleasure and competition. My first riding horse was a Tennessee Walker pony named “Fixin.” He taught me the ropes and the rest is history.
I completed my undergraduate studies in DePiere, WI at St. Norbert College. My DVM degree was awarded to me by the Univ. of WI-Madison in 2005. Most recently I completed an equine medicine and surgery internship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Littleton, CO.
Hobbies: As long as I am outdoors I am content! Kayaking, canoeing, boating, backpacking with my husband, you name it, I’m game! Since I have been in school horseback riding has fallen from this list but hopefully soon I can pick-up where I left off.
Medical Interest: There are many aspects of ambulatory practice that are challenging and interesting to me. Internal medicine and lameness are but two specific areas of interest and I hope to become certified in VSMT and acupuncture as my career progresses.
