Intern - Dr. Megan Swaab

Dr. Megan Swaab was born and grew up in Neenah, WI. She went to school for both undergrad and vet school in Madison, WI. Her only sister Julie and her family live in Madison; she has three nephews and one niece ranging from >2 years to almost 16. Megan started taking horseback riding lessons as a child and eventually began showing American Quarter Horses as a youth all around. She became very interested in equine surgery when her horse, BM, had arthroscopic surgery by Dr. Langer ~ 10 years ago. Unfortunately, she had to sell her horse to go to school, but would like to get back into riding very soon. She currently has one plump cat, Ellie who is a muted calico adopted from the humane society. In her free time Megan likes to travel, read, hike, spend time with her family, practice yoga, swim and nap.
