Intern - Dr. Megan Johnson

Dr. Megan Johnson grew up in Connecticut and upstate New York and was very active in Pony Club with her POA & Morgan cross Quarter Horse. She moved to Wisconsin in 1996 (where she learned the joy of cheese curds) but has not competed and mainly trail rides her Arabian “Noah”. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary School in May 2007. She lives with her two Airedale terriers “Simon” and “Isaac” and her African Grey parrot “Ashiki” who keep her entertained. Ashiki’s favorite pastime is telling the dogs to “settle down!” She is interested in all types of equine veterinary medicine and as of now, plans on doing equine general practice. When she is not involved in vet medicine, she enjoys taking her dogs to the park, fishing, hiking and playing foosball.
